Numetrics Management Systems (NMS) at www.numetrics.com is a leading technology company in benchmarking IC Chip development process and providing life cycle management tools for IC companies. All these tools are implemented as web applications. Numetrics (Pvt.) Ltd. Islamabad is wholly owned subsidiary of Cupertino, California based NMS. I joined Numetrics as Software Engineer to work on the web application using J2EE based technologies. J2EE, Struts 1.1 framework, Spring framework, Hibernate and Oracle 10g and some other third party charting and mathematics tools.Having been promoted as a Senior Software Engineer, the current job is a great blend of hands-on development & mentoring. I not only own critically important modules of NMS applications but I am also responsible for providing technical help to the software engineers in the team.Numetrics currently have 6 out of top 10 Semiconductors companies as its client i.e NXP, NEC, Intel, TI, ST Micro, AMD, Infenion & Wolfson

National Defence College (NDC) is the apex institution of the country for studies related to National Security. Every year, a large number of senior officers from civil bureaucracy and armed forces as well as military officers from friendly countries attend the courses of studies run by the college. Lately, the college has also been opened to private sector. This project is about the establishment and modernization of the NDC IT infrastructure for attracting the best breed as well as providing some form of enterprise automation. This is a large scale distributed enterprise application that will be developed using Dot Net Technologies. This is n-tier architecture application developed using façade design pattern. My responsibility was to implement the use cases in above mentioned application modules in .NET. I have worked on each layer (Presentation, Business Logic Layer and Data Access Layer) of this application.

FastCash is multi-purpose, multi-institution, online/offline Electronic Transaction Processing software. It has an open architecture and supports a diverse array of transaction delivery channels. It supports leading RDBMS including INFORMIX, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL and offers scalability, portability, reliability and extensibility.On successfully receiving a transaction from a client device (POS), the system can either authorize the transaction against a local database in stand-alone mode or seek authorization through a remote host, external ATM network or a credit card acquirer. A variety of protocols and message formats are supported to communicate with the outside world. The system can process multiple track magnetic strip cards as well as smart cards. The cards may be of standard VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB etc. or can be of a custom format.
