I grew up in Plainview, New York, a town located in Nassau County, Long Island. From a very early age, I was a developing athlete, and took a keen interest in basketball, baseball, and football. Having been exposed to athletics from a very early age, I followed through with sports through the years into middle school, and then into high school. Having been introduced to contact sports from an early age, and excelling at them, I was exposed to wrestling at an early age. I became a member of the high school wrestling team my freshman year at Plainview-Old Bethpage/JFK High School, and was a member of the varsity wrestling team until my graduation in 2011. During my time on the high school wrestling team, I had a successful track record; I took second place in my weight division at county qualifiers as a sophomore, and placed 1st or 2nd at all regular season tournaments, and was named "All Conference" my Junior and Senior years of High School.In the fall of 2011, I began my freshman year at University of Arizona as a part of the Class of 2015 in the university's undergraduate nursing program. My goal is to enter into a medical career centered around working closely with patients, providing nutritional education, but in a position that is heavily associated with nursing duties. My scholastic and extra-curricular activities on campus are mainly involved in the health and medical type clubs; HOSA - "Future Health Professionals" being the primary student organization Greg contributes his involvement to. HOSA, or "Future Health Professionals", is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. It is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE.
