Program Coordinator At Virginia Apartment Management Association (Vama)
Current• Plan and execute multiple events per month, which range in size and scope from small sessions to larger events.• Plan and execute individual event budgets annually.Abide by budgeting requirements to ensure financial success.• Help maintain membership database and online event calendar.• Responsible for selling sponsorships.Responsible for soliciting venues and vendors for all events.• Work with Director of Marketing in developing marketing strategies and plans for each event.• Coordinate, facilitate and record minutes for local Events & Education Committee and Advisory Committee• Create and maintain relationships with management companies, apartment communities and vendor partners (in other words, members of the association)• Will be integral part of membership development and initiatives that come out of committee planning.• Work with membership coordinator on any membership initiatives.
