I am a doctoral candidate in Cinema and Media Studies at University of Southern California. My research and writing uniquely combines legal history and theory with work in film and media archives to chart new terrain for understanding and wielding cinema's relationship to justice. As a scholar, I also educate colleagues and students through my publication of writing in premier peer-reviewed journals, national conferences, and classes. My current work emerged out of my previous positions at art institutions and non-profits, where I built programming, wrote grants, and contributed to strategy.
