I graduated from Highschool in 2018 and began my education at Wayne State University in the Fall of 2018. I will graduate with my BSW in Winter 2021. I have worked at Starfish Family Services since July of 2018 providing peer support to clients ages 12-17 though the Youth Peer Support Specialist Role. Due to this role I have experience in direct support as well as group facilitation and development of a life skills group. I also work part-time at Gleaners food bank working with the emergency mobile food distributions. Through my time at Wayne State, I have had the opportunity to intern at the NOAH Project, a drop in homeless center that has allowed me to build on my casework and micro-level skills. Following my internship I was offered a position within NOAH.
