After working on the HR services client retention team, I was granted the opportunity to work onto the OnDemand team for the summer of 2024. This is primarily a client-facing role where I will be connecting with clients via email discussing HR solutions, as well as observing HRBPs and HR Advisors as they help clients with inquiries and needs.

After the summer internship program, I was granted an extension and spent the fall school semester of 2023 working on an HR Solutions client retention team. On this team I completed client retention pre-work and observed CEAs as they retained clients and went over all of the packages Paychex offers.

I Conducted I-9 audits for clients, put in place handbook policies, and helped my HR business partner (mentor) with pre-work assessments on client’s businesses. I completed HR 101 training and conducted extensive research on the ins and outs of Human Resources. I had to juggle daily tasks given by my supervisor as well as finish my assignments for the excellence program/ HR 101 modules and training in a timely matter. I presented a capstone project at the conclusion of the internship's summer phase. My peers and I came up with original ideas for updating and improving the KCS webpage during this presentation/project.

I assisted in merchandising, such as stocking, pricing, and kept the store neat, clean, and organized as well as provided assistance in almost all departments. I communicated customer concerns and requests to the management. In the departments that I worked with food, such as the bakery, I prepared the food in a safe and proper manner with accordance to health and safety guidelines. I ensured accurate and efficient operation of the register; including cash management of the drawer throughout the shift, correct distribution of change, and providing credit and debit were processed correctly.
