Assistant Site Manager, Ravinia Lawndale Programs
CurrentSistema Ravinia is a signature Reach Teach Play program and offers intensive afterschool music education to students in under-resourced schools and communities in Chicago and Lake County. Sistema Ravinia fosters youth empowerment and social development through exceptional ensemble training. Reporting to the Lawndale Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager implements student and program logistics for Ravinia’s afterschool music program sites – Sistema Ravinia Lawndale Nucleo and the Ravinia Lawndale Family Music School – located in Chicago’s Lawndale community. The candidate demonstrates extraordinary organizational skills, a make-it-work mentality and is a clear and approachable communicator. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.Duties and Responsibilities- Manage daily program logistics and spaces- Manage student rosters and attendance records- Manage logistics for events and meetings- Manage student enrollment process- Manage busing logistics and needs- Maintain the inventory of supplies, music, instruments and repairs- Assist with student assessments implementation- Assist with program communication to students and parents- Coordinate instructor recruitment and application process- Maintain updated student and program information- Oversee programming when the Site Manager is not present
