I work with students in a residence hall to ensure that they have having a good experience in their residence hall and in college. I hold programs based on Ohio State's four pillars of residence life, and give out resources to residents when needed. I also respond to various incidents in the building, including wellness checks, roommate conflicts, and complaints or concerns of any kind.

A continuation of my internship over the summer, I was able to work shifts on my own. I checked and edited AccuWeather's forecasting database, wrote and filled out forms for clients, and gave briefings for AccuWeather's video broadcasters.

Through this internship, I was able to receive forecasting training, and apply this training through doing some responsibilities on different shifts. I checked the forecasts of various cities across the United States and discussed any possible changes to them, created and edited feature graphics, which were used for stories on the AccuWeather website, and wrote discussions and filled out forms for TV and radio clients. We completed a Post Mortem presentation on the severe weather outbreak that occurred in the Northern Plains on June 10, 2021, and an analysis of how AccuWeather's hurricane tracks and intensities held up to what actually occurred. I serve ice cream and other treats to guests, as well as run drawers in the arcade and ice creamery. I also host birthday parties and smaller group events, as well as help host large corporate events. I also schedule birthday parties and group events and help train other team members in birthday party information.
