Ever since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated by the way things work. Growing up, I would spend hours taking apart and putting back together anything I could get my hands on. This natural curiosity and problem-solving mindset led me to pursue a career in engineering, and I have been passionate about it ever since I decided to become an engineer in middle school. Throughout my career, I have worked on a variety of projects, ranging from designing and building complex machinery to developing innovative solutions for everyday problems. Each project has challenged me to think outside the box and use my technical skills to find creative solutions.But what truly sets me apart is my drive and determination. I am not satisfied with simply meeting expectations; I strive to exceed them. I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.One of my proudest accomplishments was leading a team to work through a major rework project at Briggs and Stratton. I lead a team of technicians and engineers to identify, correct, and catalog various manufacturing defects, reporting daily to our VP of business development. Through this project we handled millions of dollars worth of product, and quickly and correctly solved the issue we came across. Through my leadership and technical expertise, we were able to complete this project on time and get the product out to the customer. But beyond my technical skills, I believe that my ability to communicate and collaborate with others is what truly makes me a valuable asset to any team. I am a strong believer in the power of teamwork and understand the importance of building strong connections with everyone, from upper management to janitorial staff. Everyone has something to bring to the table, and everyone deserves a chance to be heard.
