Hello! I am a currently a senior at Georgia Southern University majoring in Exercise Science. I have a deep-rooted interest in occupational therapy. My journey toward higher education was driven by my desire to help individuals improve their quality of life and overcome challenges. I am looking for somewhere where I can get hands on experience in the field, and learn from established professionals.My course work in structural kinesiology, medical terminology, and anatomy have provided me with a strong foundation to learn more from. I have had the privilege of shadowing for Shriners hospital where I directly witnessed the impact occupational therapy makes in individuals lives.As I work toward my degree in occupational therapy I am excited to collaborate with mentors, fellow students, and like-minded people who share the passion for OT.
