My teaching philosophy focuses on addressing the additional challenges that students face.In my capacity as the Disability Lead at BUIC, I make sure that students with disabilities receive the necessary accommodations and personalized learning plans. I also manage Transitional Activities, helping students transition smoothly into university life and guiding them through crucial phases of their academic journey.Additionally, I lecture at Bangor University Business School, where I teach Professional Competence to Master’s students. My teaching career in the UK began in 2019 at the School of Psychology and Sport Science, where I taught Scientific Writing and Research Methods. My dedication to coordination and leadership is recognized through my Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), which highlights my commitment to addressing the challenges students face and my inclusive approach to leadership.My work also extends to the School of Arts, Culture, and Language at Bangor University, where I collaborate with colleagues on research projects and present findings at academic conferences. I have also assisted universities in organizing student conferences, further showcasing my commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive academic environment. In addition to my teaching and administrative roles, I am a PhD candidate in Psychology and a researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience and Social Psychology, with interests in language and accents, explicit and implicit bias, and attitudes.
