 Responsible to manage all sorts of Account opening, closing and maintenance in system and Central Depository System on client’s instruction for all the MENAP countries. Analyzing the Client Relationship Management system analytical reports to see what kind of queries the clients are coming up with and to see they are provided with alternative comprehensive guidelines in relations to their issues/queries. Assisting the transaction banking products team in terms of meetings with the clients, developing with presentations and representing Securities Services UAE in both client calls and the group. Responsible for Monthly billing, Invoice issuance and processing to all the clients as per the fee schedule. Interaction with Network Management Teams of all the clients on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to assist them in providing information about MENAP custody market. Responsible for managing and performing monthly checks of Operational Risk for the department and ensuring controls and procedures are being adhered by the section.  Look after all types of Corporate Actions for Equity and Debt instruments (Cash Dividend, Bonus, Rights, AGM, EOGM, Stock Splits, Redemption etc) including company’s announcements, Dividend payments Tax Reclaims, Proxy Services, Network Management Support, Income Management, Reconciliation.  Responsible for producing MIS reports for all the foreign clients and to sent them without failure with the frequency of daily, weekly and monthly basis. Support management as required daily matters and projects and initiatives. Coordinating with management and business with any issues in the department.

Securities Services (Custody Services)

 Responsible to manage all sorts of Account opening, closing and maintenance in system and Central Depository System on client’s instruction. Handling Due diligence with Platinum clients J.P.  Manage all Corporate Action activities to ensure that the clients are advised and responded to for all Corporate Action related functions, including announcements, collection of entitlement, Dividend payments, Proxy voting etc. Manage Purchase and sale of shares from various Brokers of behalf of our foreign clients. Arranging funds through FX from foreign clients. Registration of shares as per client’s instructions. Coordinating with local companies and registrars in respect of shares registration. Process all transactions in Central Depository System (CDS) & National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) in timely & accurate manner as per requirement. Manage failed trades to avoid losses through buy-ins and ensure clients’ funds are received and paid as per instructions in timely & accurate manner. Timely reporting to Treasury for all FX and SBP transactions and positions. Handle additional assignments given by the supervising Manager for the unit. Assist Head of the department & Manager Operations in preparation of various reporting including, daily and weekly SBP reporting, MIS for platinum investors, Monthly Key Statistics etc. Introducing project STORMII into Securities Services, involving the implementation of a new system SeCCuRE replacing the BANCS module of existing in house systems.

Manage trade settlement function that involves receiving, affirming and settling instructions. Check and intimate clients regarding all sorts of Corporate Action i.e. Voluntary and In-voluntary etc. Check and initiate purchase and sale of shares from various Brokers of behalf of our foreign clients. Corporate Action proceeds as per client’s instruction. Initiating Corporate Action both Voluntary and in Voluntary Input and follow-up. Process settlements Input, Follow–up, execution and Reporting, Including Global Depository Receipts and TFCs and Fixed Term Bond Transactions. Initiate all transactions in Central Depository System (CDS) & National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) as per requirement. Strictly follow the Operating procedures and SBP’s foreign exchange control manual for areas relating to Operations.
