In 2019, we made an adventurous decision to relocate our family to Chicago. While myhusband starts up a Trading office for a renewable energy firm, I decided to involve myself in voluntary work for the school and local community.

My role was to strengthen Prince’ brand proposition in the Nordic cluster. I successfully executed the three-year branding strategy for Prince in the premium segment by enforcing Prince’ legacy and heritage in all marketing touch points.- Developed brand strategies and executed Go-To-Market plans across key platforms to deliver defined KPIs- Led the execution of integrated marketing campaigns including sales planning, channel strategy, price management, production and distribution to ensure efficient supply chain and timely roll-outs- Led the development of business cases to champion new product launches and innovative packaging designs- Managed brand P&Ls, advertising, promotions and agency budget

Alongside growing the dairy business in selected Mediterranean markets; Israel, Turkey, Cyprus and Malta, one of my key responsibilities was to implement Arla Foods' new global marketing campaign Good Growth. It was a rewarding experience to lead the process of executing the campaign adapting to local customs, religious perception, and consumer needs. - Ensured continuous growth of the dairy category in selected growth markets with focus on new product launch opportunities- Led the planning and execution of local B2B and B2C business plans by defining specific scope, budgets, timelines and goals with key partners- Provided support and direction to local customer sales and marketing teams on the full range of the brand manifesto and marketing strategy

One of the projects I am most proud of and excel in was to build the export business in Southeast Asia. The most challenging and rewarding experience was to explore whitespace opportunities both in the city and rural areas. Beside working on new product innovation, my key responsibility was to develop and execute local based marketing campaigns in focused markets: Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China and Bangladesh.- Drove market expansion by growing global dairy brands: Arla, Lurpak & Castello in up-coming growth markets in Southeast Asia- Transformed customer insights into new product development and promotion tactics to optimize local marketing campaigns- Partnered with R&D and production teams to oversee NPD pipelines and ensure timely roll-out of new and enhanced products targeting Asian consumers- Responsible for marketing and sales training of 400+ local employees; including local management teams, marketing & sales managers, and sales representatives

I was very fortunate to join Arla Foods' Graduate Program after my graduation. The program is a fast-track leadership program where I got to work on high profile projects to boost my professional and personal development. The aim of the program was to prepare me to move into a key role in Arla Foods' global business at the end of the program.

Since June 2008 I have been a member of the senior network run by Humanity in Action (HIA). HIA is an international NGO focussing on human and minority rights. I took part in the HIA summer program which purpose is to discuss and promote the above issues and create a dialogue with European and American NGOs, journalists, diplomats and politicians.
