I am currently a PhD student at Vanderbilt University in the Earth and Environmental Sciences department, funded by a research assistantship and teaching assistantship.

Work-study position at the Coates Library reference desk at Trinity University. Helping students with research, working with Interlibrary Loan (ILL), checking books in and out, and answering general questions about the library.

The primary research goals included determining the regional distribution of dolomite and the vertical distribution in the focus cross section areas to test between different models for dolomitization in the Nanpanjiang Basin of southern China. A secondary objective in visualizing the carbonate platform architecture was to evaluate whether there is a basin-wide synchronous shift from ramp to high-relief ramp architecture.I worked with an original geodatabase on ArcGIS Pro, including DEM, LANDSAT, and Geologic mapping.

Conducted a research project about the use of Li isotopes as tracers of urbanization impacts in urbanized watersheds of the Austin, Texas area. This research project was conducted virtually with the Environmental Science Institute.

Tutoring freshman in the writing workshop course FYE-1600 (HUMA: Great Books of the Ancient World), helping them develop professional and academic essay-writing skills.
