I led a £600M growth portfolio of 100+ of the best New Zealand scale-ups (mostly tech and consumer) entering and growing in the US. I led a diverse commercial team of Business Development Managers within a professional services environment, where we partnered with founders/CEOs/executives to develop, implement and co-invest in market entry and growth plans. I managed the office, budgets, employee culture & the growth of the businesses in my portfolio. Added 5x in additional deal value (£150M additional per annum) to portfolio and grew team engagement from NPS of +49 to +83, placing in top 10% of all organizations globally (external benchmark). I also held the title of Consul General NYC, which means I had the privilege of being the most senior diplomat, creating opportunities and connections between NZ and the US. For example, supporting 50-person Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and CEO business delegation visits.

Reporting to the CEO, I was the global head of marketing and creative for this start up scaling from £15M to £100M and across 30 countries / 3000 partners & direct channels. I led the 40-person global marketing team.

Reporting to VP Global Marketing, I was tasked with developing (from scratch) a strategic framework and set of tools that could be used to align all 9 subsidiary markets with company sales & marketing objectives to achieve growth targets.

Reporting to GM Europe, I led marketing strategy, and pushed brand-right execution through 9 European distributor markets. I was responsible for PR; execution of instore strategy to increase merchandising footprint; and inspiring sales and retailers through brand & product story-telling.

Reporting to the CEO I had a budget of £6.5M and a team of 10. ENZ has the role of increasing the value and cultural benefits of international education. Exceeded all KPIs including 133% increase over target for digital 'referrals'; and a growing community growth from 120k to 650k, while increasing engagement from 2% to 25%. Seconded from NZTE.

Reporting to Head of European Sport, I initiated and aligned marketing across 6 European countries – including PR, campaigns, sponsorship and trade.
