I am a very capable individual, highly organised with a determination to succeed in all areas of my role. As the event manager of MWL, I am responsible for maximising profits and brand values across the show in the short, medium and long term. This includes ensuring delivery of attendance level required in the budget, in addition to marketing, PR, budget management, client relationship management and identifying new revenue streams. My key accountabilities include; • Creating the Event Development Plan, incorporating the value proposition and ensuring it is consistently delivered across sales, marketing, PR and operations• Leading the commercial team to ensure revenue targets are achieved, through personal and team contribution, including writing an effective sales plan• Managing through a matrix the operational and marketing teams to ensure EDP is achieved within agreed budget• P&L management; setting event budget for MD sign off. Ensuring profitability targets are met through active re forecasting and cost centre management • Building relationships within the industry to identify trends, relevant investors and new business opportunities ahead of competitors• Producing weekly and monthly reporting for senior management purposes
