Previously: Communications Consultant/Associate 1--As part of a contracted team, supported all internal communications efforts for the Health Systems, Office of Health Information (OHI), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). --Developed initial proposal for the Health Systems Yammer site dedicated to raising awareness and educating VA staff members about the Department’s 16 Major Initiatives. After the proposal was accepted, established the site and contributed to the development of the network and the Health Systems Yammer community.--Spearheaded the overhaul of the Health Systems 80+ page intranet site and oversaw the ongoing maintenance of the site. --Developed and promoted new communications products such as fact sheets, organizational charts, PowerPoint presentations, and storyboards, as well as supervising the development of overview materials used for Health Systems presentations.--Drafted and edited high-visibility internal and external communications products, including briefs, strategic planning documents, newsletters, executive correspondence, and blog posts to ensure consistent messaging throughout the organization.--Redesigned Health Systems communications materials during a significant rebranding effort and organizational name change.
