▪ Completed patient specific quality assurance (QA) calculations, measurements, and data analysis. ▪ Independently perform monthly QA tests for three Varian ProBeam gantry treatment rooms and one fixed beam treatment room to check dosimetric and mechanical characteristics of proton therapy and in-room imaging equipment (CBCT), including energy, dose output, isocenter coincidence, spot size and separation, in accordance with AAPM Task Group 224. ▪ Worked 20 hours/week to design and prepare lecture demonstrations for physics courses and set up laboratory apparatus for associated labs. ▪ Promoted to Senior Laboratory Assistant in May 2018, promoted again in May 2019 to Assistant Laboratory Manager, new responsibilities include hiring and training new lab assistants and overseeing all day-to-day laboratory operations.
