I've spent the last 5 years as Creative Director for Mellow Vibes, a dynamic national cannabis edibles brand as we expand state by state while designing product lines, brand assets, ad campaigns, social media strategy web assets, and brand support assets for each state. Before cannabis, my home was skincare for over fifteen years. I spent time in nearly every aspect and developed a deep understanding of the business. I was out in the lab compounding and mixing products and out on the line filling and packing, working with complex machinery, and creating processes and training. After that, I had success as a b2b salesman which led to leading a sales team while also building a 7 figure eCommerce website that eventually became our focus. I've been fortunate to have spent time in two dynamic industries with a lot of great people. In 2022 I became a certified PSW to provide services for my son. I've learned a lot about person-centered care, it's given me a better perspective because it's a different way of thinking and interacting than you are used to in the parent role. The goal is to help him be independent and manage his environment as an adult. The experience of being around his friends and other kids we met when he was winning his Special Olympics Oregon gold medals, taught me to appreciate this organization and these athletes so much. Their gratitude and love of life and the things we take for granted is inspiring. I've always felt that society needs to make more room for neuro differences. I heard exactly that in my training which was great. You gain a lot of perspective from people with superpowers. My motto is "Do something impossible, every day"
