As the Head of the Global Distribution & Order Fulfilment team, I handle the products-to-market function. Managing the contract processes with logistics providers and 3PL centers in various markets worldwide (APAC, MENA, SSA, EU LATAM & US Markets). Global performance improvement through the adoption of best-practices in product distribution and logistics.Some of my key accomplishments are:→ Reduced transit time from 36 to 16 days from Shanghai port to Long Beach US via fast boat transportation mode in 2021.→ Performed resourcing/line management roles for outsourced global order management with 120+ employees.→ Managed budget of $130M in RFQ process, lane awards, and implementation as well as training the team on global freight sourcing with an annual spend of $130M+ in all modes, such as Air, Sea, MMEX, and Road.→ Expanded global logistics service provider portfolio to incorporate three new vendors via contract negotiations and frame agreements in four months versus standards of up to 12.→ Optimized freight spending via modes of transportation initiation with fast boat service to US markets and multi-mode transportation for MENA and SSA regions, resulting in cost minimization by US6.3M in 2021.

In this capacity, pioneered the establishment of design frameworks for Logistics Operations and Logistics Governance models. I played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a Freight Audit Portal (Control Pay) for the IMA region, aiming to streamline invoicing processes, enhance accuracy in freight payments, and reduce complexity in freight accruals. Responsible for establishing and setting up Logistics Control towers in key countries of the Region.Actively took part in talent mapping initiatives across the regional logistics community, aligning with the European Logistics Association model to identify and leverage key abilities. My responsibilities included ensuring strict adherence to ABB's global trade compliance strategies through a comprehensive analysis and appraisal of country import/export environments, while consistently complying with both global and national laws.Key accomplishments:→ Supervised ABB India Middle East and Africa Logistics functions, including 290+ staff members. Here, I managed freight sourcing team with full cost and budget management, led regional ownership of Country Cost Logistics Databases and ensured data accuracy. I fostered trusted relationships at all levels as well as trained teams on key policies and procedures.Key accomplishments:→ Led Outbound Logistics team for Nokia finished goods distribution across India Markets with Sales Revenue of $3B.→ Managed 15+ international freight lanes into India, four ports of entry, and twenty-three distribution centers countrywide as well as 200+ domestic transportation lanes in India, facilitating 400+ Nokia distributors.→ Oversaw Logistics Service Sourcing of $40M+ per annum, such as RFQ Process, lane awards, and lane implementation for domestic and international logistics service providers.→ Overhauled road distribution network on PAN India level for finished goods to markets and updated provider matrix on delivery performance in 2011.→ Monitored outsourcing of warehouses from company-owned model to 3PL provider with recorded performance indicators in 2009/2010.
