• Relied to lead the Procurement operations worth 150 Cr INR including accountability for Costing, sourcing and New product development of Fabrication & sheet metal parts, Hydraulic kit and Special application vehicle bodies like Ready mix concrete, Containers etc.,• Accountable for end-to-end procurement scope for parts handled and also New product development as per the organisational process including APQP/PPAP process• Handled Fully built solutions (FBS) methodology deployment from procurement side in Ready Mixconcrete vehicles

-Lead the Global Sourcing and development activities worth 200 Cr INR including accountability for Costing and Strategic sourcing Projects for Fabrication, Castings, Forgings & Machining, Electrical components, Motor Drives for global and domestic market for Fans & Heater division of Howden.- As added responsibility, heading the Chennai plant operations 110 Cr INR, including the indirect spend contributing to 25 Cr INR-Develop and implement strategies and project plans for Centrifugal & Axial Fans catering to various industries which includes Power, Mining, Cement, Steel, Tunnel & Metro projects for Domestic & Global.-Liaise with global teams on sourcing of all Fan parts as per sourcing plan with emphasis on long lead & critical procurement items-Accountable for end to end sourcing scope for new project buying, with special emphasis on preparation and finalization of sourcing contract and transfer to supply chain-Identify capable sources for Howden Group as a part of Best Cost Countries (BCC) and participate in the Request for Quotation by ensuring competitive pricing. Liaising with category managers to put best long-term strategy in place.

• Develop and implement strategies and project plans to enable the creation of scalable sourcing operations - prioritize purchasing activities as per Procurement Plan with emphasis on long lead & critical procurement items• Accountable for annual spend value of around INR 470 Crores for Load body/Sheet Metal parts and achieve the set negotiation target for the team• Proactively managing new suppliers, services and service extensions to maximize the benefits sought - financial, operational, and risk mitigation • Implement cost reduction, and scrap/rework reduction ideas, including new technologies and/or process improvements• Leading critical and strategic project, developing a team in accordance with the Daimler India Commercial Vehicles’ principles to support overall leadership

• Drive Procurement Value Contribution to the business whilst ensuring compliance with strategies and processes• Accountable for Annual spend of around INR 100 Crores in Load body/Sheet Metal parts and Achieve the set negotiation target for the FY• Work cross-functionally with R&D, purchase, Product Projects, Manufacturing departments whilst leading strategic projects for the company• Identify, establish, and manage multi-tiered relationships across client, company, and suppliers to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals• Prioritize monitoring of procurement activities as per design & drawing, and materials quality as per the project plan • Prepare detailed project execution plan encompassing the overall project theme, including materials resource planning, budgetary outlays and activity schedules to ensure completion of projects on time and meeting cost and quality metrics
