Research & Development of friction brake pads based on different Solid lubricants | Analysis of material properties using various material characterization techniques such as XRD, TGA, DSC, SEM, OM etc., Performed and studied the performance of all different metal sulfide pads with lab-scale CHASE test and Variable Speed Test rig to understand the friction stability, fade friction, fade temperatures. Wear tests were also carried out to investigate the wear rate for all pads.

I was involved in researching the extraction of synthetic rutile and its subsequent characterization, including performing wet chemical analyses. I gained practical experience in operating various instruments such as XRF (X-ray Fluorescence), TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), PSA (Particle size Analyzer), as well as conducting Hardness testing (Rockwell), UTM (Universal Testing Machine) procedures, porosity testing, and utilizing a densiometer.
