My role involved managing a team of three resources responsible for day-to-day tier two support.Successfully managed the retirement of the legacy EMEA IBOR platform after the BlackRock buyout of Barclays Global Investors in 2009. Notably, the retirement of a legacy Transfer Agent application, ranked second on the Technology Risk list, involved the migration of 175 funds, 600 share classes, and numerous unit holders to the strategic Aladdin platform. This initiative resulted in cost savings of $100K for BlackRock in annual licensing fees.Designed and implemented a critical data interface for migrating $3 trillion Index Equity assets to Aladdin, resulting in significant improvements in end-to-end reconciliation time. This achievement led to over 100 hours of efficiency savings for both operational and development teams.
