Being a veteran in CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) domain and having been exposed to CXL (Commodity Xtra Large) while being a part of Triple Point Technology (TPT, company where I was employed before Sapient), my primary job at Sapient, which was a consulting partner to TPT, was to lead a small team to deliver enhancements on top of CXL based on the client needs. The primary set of responsibilities included mentoring new people on CXL, delivering on client requirements, development and liaising with various QA and business teams to ensure successful and high quality software releases.

I was responsible for delivering enhancements for Valuation module in CXL. CXL which stands for Commodity Xtra Large catered to Commodity and Risk Management Domain (CTRM) and was a flagship product of Triple Point. Valuation was a core component of CXL and used to carry out valuation of the various instruments supported by CXL. My job at Triple Point was to do enhancements to CXL as per the client needs. Reviewing the functional specs and creating technical specs out of them, software development and testing, demos with business for UAT sign off are the overall set of responsibilities my role encompassed.

Ocwen was a loan servicer and had a suite of applications to overlook the various activities related to servicing a loan. I had my time at Ocwen mostly invested in an application called Bankruptcy which used to deal with cases where people will default on their loan payments and finally declare Bankruptcy. Ocwen used applications like Bankruptcy to track such cases. The application had a number of workflows like POC (Proof of Concept) and MFR (Motion For Relief) which aimed at minimizing losses to the lending institution with the help of software technology. My core role was to build new features in this application and then work with other teams like QA and business to get their nod before pushing the releases to prod.
