I enjoy the reward of setting challenging goals and working hard to achieve them, such as training for the Ironman triathlon or the Seattle-to-Portland bicycle classic, knitting sweaters, and finally finishing my undergraduate degree. The next goal on the list: passing the CPA exam.After earning an Associate in Business at Bellevue College, I transferred to the Michael G. Foster School of Business at University of Washington, graduating in December, 2018. In addition to the required accounting curriculum, my elective coursework included professional leadership, accounting for government and not-for-profits, and an introduction to governance of nonprofits. I am currently studying for the CPA exam with a goal of completing licensure requirements by early 2021.The focus of my career is on serving my community through fulfilling the missions of municipal government and not-for-profit organizations. I enjoy writing, troubleshooting, quantitative analysis, and laughter. I bring a love of learning, attention to detail, and willingness to help.
