Manage and direct daily activities of department consisting of 2 Customer Quality Engineers, 1 Group Leader & 9 Technicians. Responsible for prioritizing warranty investigations & projects in order to meet Customer response deadlines. Accountable for technical communication to Customers in U.S, Mexico & Japan in regard to specific corrective actions to prevent recurrence of manufacturing issues resulting in Warranty/Customer Claims.

Reporting directly to Project Manager, responsible for all aspects of ISO/TS16949:2002 quality system for new Generation V high pressure fuel pumps for General Motors Trucks, Cadillac, & Corvette. Primary contact for one domestic and two international customers. - Delivered Gamma Production documentation per AIAG guidelines and secured General Motors approval on schedule.

Provided customer support for all transmission models. Primary quality contact for four domestic and three international customers. Responsible for short term countermeasure implementation & coordination of long term countermeasure development activities. Supplied Toyota required quality documentation including Manufacturing Quality Control Plans, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Change Requests (PCR). All quality documentation prepared in accordance with Toyota quality assurance guidelines. Accountable for internal Corrective Action Audits and Supplier Warranty Cost Share (SWCS) Program. Delivered all quality documentation for new automatic transmission projects on time and secured Toyota approval for all parts.

Managed 24/7 operation of all production optical fiber test equipment, including technician-training program. Accountable for evaluating test equipment measurement accuracy, repeatability, and maintenance. Coordinated product qualification testing. Led internal Quality Systems audits in accordance with ISO 9000. Originated and maintained documentation for all test procedures.
