I am an ambitious and detail-oriented biosystems engineering student with a passion for design and a devotion to self-betterment. Throughout my career I’ve amassed a considerable toolbox of design, engineering, software and leadership skills that I wield in both professional contexts and my own personal projects. I strive to develop meaningful solutions to problems bigger than myself, and this internal drive motivates me further my own knowledge and technical proficiency. As I develop professionally, I am confident that I will be able to incite meaningful change. My coding abilities have found a home in diverse contexts; from writing in C# to develop military education software, to using Lua to introduce young children to computer science, I’ve found my utility stretches beyond just software development. Coupled with design skills and my continuing engineering education, I’ve made myself an invaluable member of any team I’ve been a part of. When I’m not at work or in class, I spend my time tinkering with my 3d printer, tending to my indoor garden, and learning new recipes. I like to keep myself busy, and I treat troubleshooting and working on my own problems as a sort of meditative exercise. I also take time to enjoy the great outdoors on my bike, on the trail, or in the backcountry.
