Fun fact: I was *almost* named Forrest! And, like a carpenter named Woody, Forrest is a pretty good aptronym if you were to picture me personally and professionally!Personally, my childhood in the countryside allowed me to experience the many pleasures (and pains) from a tyke tromping through the woods playing with the various plants and critters that I found. Which has translated to me, as an adult, enjoying trail running before sunrise, planning several hiking trips, and embracing many, many Honey Bee stings!Professionally, my interests in what makes the natural world tick led me to get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Biology. Courses in plant/species identification and scientific processes rolled into internships that made me look past anecdotal evidence and into hard data collection. This ushered in laboratory and field work experience in GLP (Good Lab Practices) as well as beekeeping both scientifically and for some of the worlds' largest companies for employee engagement and education!Though I wasn't named Forrest, I still seem to gravitate to things outside both in my free time and at work! Also, Forrest Gump came out the same year I was born and I would have never lived down the "Run, Forrest, Run" jokes... So Harrison Bolton it is - my personal favorite of the two!StrengthsFinder: Restorative, Deliberative, Arranger, Adaptability, Self-AssuranceCore Values: Humility, Change, CourageMyers-Briggs: INTP
