I am a Technology Manager for Ester Hydrogenation responsible for maximising the value of the technologies for licence by supporting sales and negotiating technical contracts, responsible for the technical content of the basic engineering package and commissioning services provided as part of the technology transfer with the sale of a licence sale, and directing the development of process improvements,Previously I spent 8 years as a Technology Development manager with a brief to identify and develop new process technologies, particularly latterly concerned with the route to net zero. Before that I was Technology Manger for syngas and derivatives, primarily licensing methanol plants.I have an MBA, with particular interest in decision making under uncertainty.I started with the company back in 1996, engineering designs for licensed technology and providing commissioning advice and guidance, and working on process development tasks.Much of my past work has entailed travel throughout China.
