Leading 3 internal teams composed of 16 total students to create an aircraft for the 2025 AIAA Design, Build, Fly competition. This project requires an advanced understanding of aerodynamics and structures, including Materials, CAD, Fluids ANSYS, and Structural ANSYS.

Led a group of 20 students in designing and building their own remote-controlled aircraft. Taught foundational concepts in airfoils, aircraft dynamics, and flight mechanics, providing hands-on guidance throughout the construction process. Supported students in successfully flying their planes, fostering practical engineering skills and a deeper understanding of aviation principles.

Designing an automated manufacturing system for a local wood factory, RU WOOD, utilizing skills in CAD, CNC manufacturing, and PLC programming.

Helped grow the club from 6 to over 50 active members through supporting strategic recruitment and engagement initiatives. Successfully expanded annual funding from $1,000 to $10,000 by collaborating with the UGA Student Association and securing additional sponsorships. Fostered partnerships with other campus organizations to host joint events and initiatives, enhancing the club’s visibility and impact within the university community.

Led a multidisciplinary team of 10 students in conceptualizing and constructing arobotic solution with advanced features such as computer-vision-based data acquisition andMecanum drivetrain.

Developed an industrial-grade hexacopter tailored for agricultural applications, integrating an autonomous battery replacement system to minimize human intervention during operations. Designed and constructed both the drone and its docking station, enabling seamless battery swaps when power levels were low.

Contributed to the design of essential components on UGA's Multiview Onboard Computational Imager (MOCI) satellite using Inventor CAD and conducting structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS. Additionally, created detailed assembly procedures for the satellite for efficiency construction and repair.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, addressed the growing demand for accessible virtual physical therapy solutions. Collaborated with a team of three students to design and build sensor-embedded objects capable of monitoring hand pressure. Additionally, developed a computer vision system to guide patients through exercises at home, ensuring proper technique. The system recorded and formatted data into an intuitive format for nurses to monitor patient progress effectively.

During my time at MORSE Studio with Dr. Ashwin Ashok, I developed and implemented computer vision (CV) programs including visible light communication, image classification, object detection, and associated data management. I also helped incorporate advanced CV-based communication protocols using emitters and cameras on drones, designing and building these drones from the ground up for collecting and validating research data. Through this work, I gained extensive hands-on experience with both hardware (Jetson Nano, ZED2, Pixhawk, Power Distribution Boards) and software (Linux, Python, and Python packages), building a solid foundation in drone technology and its practical applications.

IEEE periodically hosts international competitions to bolster innovation in a growing research field. This particular competition was closely related to my work at MORSE Studio lab at GSU, and my entry into the competition was through a recommendation by Dr. Ashok. I collaborated with a PhD Student to address the challenges of GPS connectivity in drone fleets, which often led to failsafe landings during extended missions. With the rapid rise of drone fleet applications—such as Amazon's parcel delivery—I designed a light-weight system using computer vision to localize drones within the fleet and share satellite data across units. This approach effectively maintained connectivity during GPS module failures, demonstrating strong practical success. Our innovative solution earned 2nd place internationally, showcasing the potential of resilient navigation systems for autonomous drone operations.
