• Designed and constructed a unique experimental set-up to successfully study the non-equilibrium freezing of water using ultrafast X-ray lasers at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Created an inventory and procured all components needed for vacuum experiments, consistently keeping within budget. • Created a new analytical technique by integrating Beer-Lamberts’ law together with x-ray scattering to study the nanodroplets of water, nonane and their mixtures quantitatively through Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
