As a Student Governor at Canadore College, I have been representing the student body and the college community . I collaborate with the Board of Governor to ensure the strategic direction, vision, and mission of the college are aligned with the values and goals of the students. In addition to my governance role, I work as a Community Connector for the Village Collective Impact Project, a collaborative and intergenerational initiative that aims to promote wellness, learning, and social inclusion among the college and the community. I plan and coordinate the Learning to Live Fit Speaker Series, where I handle event management, leadership, and participation. I also facilitate communication, engagement, and partnership among the diverse stakeholders, including community organizations. Furthermore, I serve as a Residence Advisor for Canadore Residence, where I provide customer service and support to the residents, as well as organize and participate in various events and activities that promote social and academic integration. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated core competencies.
