The E-Package Primary Objective is to execute LV & MV switchgear and composite equipment in accordance with contract specifications within an Electrification Package (Transportable PowerHouses).Reporting to the Team Leader BIE and Project Director, responsible for the deliverables within E-Package, of medium-large scale electrical packages and drive towards key results.In the role of Building Integration Engineer, I have to co-ordinate and liaise within the various engineering groups within ABB, and utilize my knowledge and experience to produce a completed engineering solution. Specific tasks and competencies include:• Have the ability to create E-Packaging BOM for each building.• Prepare and evaluate tender packages.• Gather relevant design data information for all equipment to be installed within each building.• Ensuring that I continually review Project margins.• Evaluate commercial and contractual obligations under contract.• Reviewing work in progress.• Ensure on time delivery is met under contract.• Raise Purchase Orders and manage materials procurement.• Design cable and interconnection cable schedules within buildings using CAD.• Co-Ordinate shipping activities.• Support Project Manager on Day to Day activities.• Finalise design and approval of equipment and switchroom buildings with client.• Prepare as-built and hand over documentation.• Coordination and management of transportable building vendors.

• Planning, initiating and executing project activities and processes as per the tasks/activities delegated by the Project Manager. Monitoring support departments to ensure that work is being executed as per contract.• Creating project schedules, prioritizing tasks, scheduling activities on the basis of deadlines provided by the Project Manager. Ensuring availability of required resources/documentation in a timely manner.• Identify and analyze the costs involved in a certain task and determine/implement means for maximum benefit.• Identify and ensure implementation of quality standards relevant for delegated tasks/activities. Applying planned, systematic quality activities (CQMS procedures, Method Statements, etc.) Documenting non-conformances, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and Company Standards.• Identifying and analyzing risks involved in scheduled activities. Determining means to overcome the risks. Escalate risks to the Project Manager as per its gravity.• Support to proposal group in cost estimating, project technical supervision, quality assurance, materials selection, approval procurement, transition planning, and project close out documentation. Collecting and distributing performance information, including status reporting progress measurement and forecasting. Coordinating with Site and Project Management• Coordinating with related engineers, Procurement department, Site Management, Project Management, Design Department, Quality and Safety department, Subcontractors to meet project goals and objectives.

• Preparation of engineering design documents (i.e. single line diagram, component lists, assembly drawings and front views, power / control and interlocking circuit diagrams, mechanical construction drawings) of medium voltage and low voltage switchgears on computer using CAD / CAE system.• Release engineering design documents for manufacturing in QMS framework.• Review internal clients (Production & Sales) and external clients change requests and update design documentation.• Check and finalize product specifications for purchasing and production, e.g. component lists, copper/ cable sizes, material, etc.• Conduct selection of Electrical Component including relays, breakers, contactors, current transformers, voltage transformers, protection and metering devices.• Monitor engineering over run for completion of orders.• Provide technical inputs to Purchasing and Sales departments for supplies and services.• Represent Engineering & Design department during internal and external audits.• Review and update Engineering and Design Department Quality Records (NCR, KPI forms and Engineering orders)• Train Engineering and Design team members in technical presentations on switchgear products for enhancing staff competency.
