I am Associate Professor at Coventry University and my broad research interests are in anything brain-related, e.g. cognitive function, neuropsychology, neuroscience and the long term psychosocial effects of acquired brain injury. My expertise is in adult (and 'older' adult) brain and cognitive function, and the psychological wellbeing of people living with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and dementia.Since 2015, aspects of my research have focussed on the importance of supporting the sexual wellbeing of older adults and those living with brain injury. We have recently won funding to develop a digital, peer-supported self-management programme, to provide mental and sexual wellbeing support for adults living with acquired brain injury. Feel free to contact me if you are interested!
