As head of the communications department, I implemented communications and marketing strategies at 35 locations across the Midwest. I managed the website and updated content daily. In addition, I oversaw company social media accounts providing accurate and timely content. I was responsible for planning, organizing and executing company meetings for employees, members and delegates. I coordinated and implemented monthly internet sales, including gathering data, editing videos and creating promotion before, during and after the sale. I design all internal and external materials, such as advertisements, event material, and employee/member e-newsletters. I coordinated all trade show participation. I managed an annual intern for the department.

I assisted the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation staff with the design and implementation of the Land and Living Exhibit at the 2014 Ohio State Fair. I worked closely with exhibit partners, contractors and Ohio Exposition Commission staff on the development of the exhibit. I coordinated staffing of the exhibit during the fair, including scheduling and training the staff and developing a daily procedure manual. I also coordinated a media relations plan with OFBF staff and Ohio Expositions Center staff and assisted in the development and implementation of an educational program designed to complement the exhibit.
