I founded the Mountyn Company in 2018 and led a small team to success in bootstrapping the creation of our first products. The Mountyn Co. creates custom maps and hiking survival kits for the tens of millions of people who seek challenge through outdoor adventure. There are only a few thousand Coast Guard reservists in the country. We stand ready to assist our communities and country when disaster falls or other challenges arise. This position involves training for one weekend each month and a separate two-week period every year. From January to April 2022, I deployed to Washington D.C. to help organize federal efforts to resettle over 100,000 Afghan individuals who sought to begin a new life in the United States.
