Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of an effective management system, ensuring compliance with all statutory EU/UK legislation and internal company policy and procedures. The role encompasses three buildings in our HMRC contract covering Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.Advise and guide all operational staff in Health and Safety matters and best practice. Increase awareness of the importance and impact of effective compliance management.Minor works Project Management - ensuring compliance with company Projects processes and effective management of sub contractors from project tender through to project completion.Managing Health and Safety across three sites - Manchester, Edinburgh and Scotland ensuring all staff were trained and competent to carry out their roles safely.Site inspections and audits to ensure high standards of service and compliance were being met.Delivery of in house Health and Safety training and tool box talks to promote a good Health and Safety culture across the contract.Monitor performance of Health and Safety and report on incidents, accidents and near misses. Management of sub-contractors ensuring all relevant standards, methods and industry guidance are being adhered to.

Responsible for the delivery of Hard Services on the HMRC TFM contract at Trinity Bridge house - Salford. Some of the requirements of the role included:-Management and delivery of planned maintenance in line with statutory compliance and contractual SLAs-Management of the site maintenance team, providing support and identifying needs for further training through carrying out Employee Development reviews-Ensuring adequate resource was available to enable work to be carried out safely and effectively including the provision of tools, equipment, risk assessment, tool box talks and PPE.-Outsourcing, procurement and management of external contractors where required to ensure contractual SLAs and statutory compliance were met.-Service reviews of external contractors-Maintenance, inspection and repair of building assets and fabric.-Provided technical support and assisted in the specification of lifecycle project works in the building-Faults diagnosis on M&E systems in the building and rectified where possible. Appointed external resources relevant to the fault where required.-Followed detailed drawings and operational maintenance manuals in order to carry out all planned maintenance, routine inspections and repairs-Assisted in the development of maintenance routines and procedures and maintained relevant technical records-Completed all regulatory and mandated documentation as required-such as Permit to Works systems.-Delivered tool box talks to the site maintenance team and site inductions to external contractors-Minor works management, reviewed all RA/MS provided by contractors prior to any works being carried out.

M & E maintenance to building services in 6 multi story, tenanted buildings at Exchange Quay Salford. Some of the requirements of the role included:-Appointed Person for pressures systems. Managed a safe system of work for all tasks related to pressure systems, carried out risk assessments and issued permits to work to sub contractors-Appointed Person for Confined spaces. Managed a safe system of work relating to the sites confined spaces, carried out risk assessment and issued permits to work-Routine inspection and maintenance of the site's assets through a PPM regime-Faults diagnosis and rectification to HVAC and mechanical systems-Carried out minor works where required on site-Provided emergency call out cover-BMS operation

HVAC shift engineer responsible for the maintenance,faults diagnosis and repair of all site Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment at British Aerospace, Warton. Ensured plant availability and business continuity to the client in line with contract KPIs and SLAs. Part of a 4 man shift team providing 24 hr cover 365 days per year. Some of the systems maintained on site included-AHUs-Split A/C-VRV systems-Process chillers-pumps and motors-Close control A/C units
