Heath is a strategic thinker with significant experience in running NFP’s that rely heavily on local, state and federal support. His professional background spans the law, government, and advocacy. In his NFP leadership, Heath draws on his own lived experience and understanding of disadvantage. Heath’s story of disadvantage and abuse appeared on Australian Story in 2006 introduced by Prime Minister John Howard. In 2009, Heath's autobiography was released by Penguin Random House forwarded by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Heath is the recipient of the Davos Australian Leadership Award. He was listed as one of Australia’s Top 50 Emerging Leaders by Start-Up Daily and was a finalist in the BOSS Magazine/Sydney University, Emerging Leaders Award.
