Improving the agglomeration of crushed ore by developing quality control tools. This AMIRA project works with copper, nickel, and gold ores from four international mining companies.

-Researched social networking among engineering students-Gathered and analyzed survey data to visually map the connections between engineering students using UCINET to improve understanding of how students connect, how connections impact performance and how to most effectively disseminate information within classes.-Coauthored and presented a peer-reviewed American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) 2009 conference article "A Brine Shrimp Ecosystem Design Project For 5Th And 6Th Grade Students"
