I am a recent Accounting graduate from Iowa State University. I am planning on taking the CPA exam upon graduation when I will have the 150 credit hours needed for the Iowa CPA exam requirements. My first degree was in Political Science from California State University San Bernardino. My experience has been mostly in customer service and political consulting/campaign efforts. I have experience in payroll, auditing, and tax. In volunteer work, I work with the LGBT community in general and the transgender community in particular in promoting education, equality, and inclusion in the workplace and in general society. I have recently come out as a transgender woman and wish to add to a diversified professional workforce while I pursue my career goals in obtaining my CPA and other professional licenses down the road.
