Responsible for all daily functions of the supply chain department within a surgical hospital setting. Averaging 250 + cases a month that are primarily Spine, ENT, Orthopedic and Plastic Surgery. Handles implant records, ordering, receiving, stocking, meets with vendors, obtains quotes, seeks cost saving opportunities, manages budget reports, seeks out improvement processes and inventory streamline negotiations. Weekly forecasting to reduce spending and excess inventory as well as ensuring all needs are met for our surgeons and staff. Works directly with the billing department to address any billing issues and ensures the invoices are processed in a timely manner as well as providing copies to insurance companies to process claims. Attends daily and weekly leadership meetings, Medical Executive Committee meetings and Board meetings. Project management for new acquisition projects. Assist in any other departments as needed and enplanement the employee engagement activities. Currently serving as the Regional Materials Manager for Carrollton, Coppell, Frisco, and Plano.

Assisted in opening processes of a new de novo center by determining equipment and supply preferences prior to opening. Responsible for all materials management functions of the fast-paced surgical center averaging 250+ cases monthly. This includes maintaining adequate surgical supply, instruments, equipment, linens and other materials, stocking, process invoices, accounts payable, scheduling, assist with front office duties and assist in operating room tasks. Additionally, assist with budget reports, negotiate contracts, participate in quality assurance and improvement, update/ write policies, and producers, meet with vendors/ reps, obtain quotes, explore options for cost savings. Maintains proper records of invoices, clinical logs, biohazard logs, temperature logs, recalls, and student/ visitors’ logs, regional trainer for new teammates and newly acquired facilities and assists wherever needed.

Assisted Materials Manager in all materials functions of the diverse ASC averaging 600+ cases monthly and functioned as Manager in their absence. Maintained all implant logs to ensure compliance and entered all patient charges for timely filing. In addition, routinely assisted in sterile processing, room turnover, and worked as a GI technician.
