She is a very approachable, personable and heart-warming person. Her presence and how she shows up for people with her energy is just wonderful. Her very presence and the fact she is so aware of others is what makes interactions with Heather an absolute pleasure. I have seen first hand how she changes the way she shows up for different people (and audiences) and it is very empowering and enabling for the people she works with and for. Heather is a huge advocate for self-care and is able to effectively recognise her limits and her boundaries when it comes to working in sensitive ways and environments. Her training as a counsellor has hugely influenced these capabilities and she really inspired better self-care practice in our team. I’m really proud of Heather. She is one of the most inspirational, incredibly gifted and compassionate people I’ve ever known. She makes everyone feel valued, seen, heard and listened to. She is one of those rare people that you come across once in a life time - and when you do, you hold them close and dear to your heart forever. She has been a rock in terms of supporting me at work - especially when I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022. I will never forget the kindness and (ongoing) support I was shown and it will stay with me forever. Heather is really adaptable and flexible in her ways of working. She learns quickly, but is also candid in her willingness to ask for help when she needs it. She is a fantastic team member and the kind of employee everyone dreams of having on their team. Her relationships with others and her ability to connect and relate to a range of people from different backgrounds is genuine. She makes everyone feel safe. When working with young people, this particularly was one of the things that contributed to such impressive success outcomes when it came to the high numbers of young people signing up for and getting help with their mental health from the Kooth service. Since leaving Kooth, I have remained close friends with Heather. I will always be grateful that our paths crossed and for the opportunity I had to work with her. Thank you Heather, for everything you are and everything you do. I know you will continue to shine a light on so many peoples lives. "
