Full responsibility for classroom management including: curriculum planning; assignments and teaching in language arts, writing, mathematics, and science based on the MA Frameworks and Lawrence School System curriculum; introducing students to school and school rules, behavior management; and school activities such as MA Frameworks and curriculum-aligned field trips. Highlights: • Assisted 18 students as they transitioned to a new school environment.• Launched the use of a new literacy program in the classroom.• Began the SPED process for two children.• Worked with ELMO and MIMIO technology. • Proctored the MCAS Exam for fourth grade in a large group setting. • Proctored the MCAS Exam for third grade in a small group setting. • Assisted with office work and testing.• In charge of end of the day dismissal.

Handle a broad range of responsibilities including: preparation of camp schedule for 500 children, ages 4-16, planning and running activities for the mini-camp program for children ages 4-6, and planning and implementing nature programs.

Highlights:•Developed and administered an MCAS Prep Program for 4th grade students which includedworking with the Study Island Program online.•Created a flexible, innovative science curriculum, tailored on the spot (hands on) to the individual and group needs of 66 fourth grade students. •Implemented, planned and organized Writer and Reader Workshops. • Proctored the MCAS Exam in a large group setting.

Managed classrooms and implemented lessons 20% of the time, while teacher was out of the room. Participated in bi-weekly faculty meetings and monthly school meetings. Highlights:•Helped facilitate Writer Workshops and Reader Theaters; assisted students using Just Right Books; assisted teachers in implementing and modifying Investigations math program, Treasures literacy program and the Foss science program.• Proctored the MCAS Exam in a one on one setting.
