I’m a small town girl with big dreams. My passion is creating happiness around me and making sure everyone is smiling. In March 2020, my husband and I took a leap of faith and purchased a local coffee shop and roaster. I thought wow, my dreams are coming true. Then Covid Hit and I mean it hit, new business owners who had to quickly adapt and pivot what seemed like daily. We have survived the pandemic and even opened a second Coffee Shop, Hazel’s Coffee Bar. We continue to live our dream and we are bringing smiles and happiness to our customers, community and baristas.I have grown up in an entrepreneurial family. Mostly in service and food. My grandparents owned a filling station, a drive in burger and ice cream shop, and operated our school busses. My parents purchased the filling station and opened a second location and this is where I grew up. Behind the scenes, working the weekend shifts and whatever they needed. I then moved on after graduating college and worked for Food Manufacturer’s and then finally settling in food service sales. I like to think that with each job I’ve held, I left each one a little bit better and knowledgeable.
