I have worked as an agent of athletes, an agent of authors, and an agent for change.My career started in the business of sports marketing and the representation of professional athletes and their events, becoming the first female to represent male professional tennis players. I have organized and directed professional tennis tournaments on ATP and WTA Tours, conducted the sales of television rights, and marketed events and athletes in other sports: FINA World Swimming and Diving Championships, Formula 1 Racing, and the Grand Prix of Figure Skating (which I created and sold to the ISU). I was based in Paris, London and Monaco during this phase of my career.Building on my experience as an agent of athletes and events, I moved into the world of publishing and began working as a literary agent for a venerable literary agency, GSLA/ICM Partners, and have represented both fiction and non-fiction authors as well as ghostwriters and their collaborations. (*Please note: I don’t handle children’s or YA books, but I am keenly interested in finding underrepresented authors and their stories of regional and class diversity, including immigrants and class migrants, particularly in memoir). In 2014 a global non-profit organization, Narrative 4, was created and headed by some of the world’s most renowned authors and artists. Since its creation I have served on the N4 board of advisors with a focus on marketing, branding and communications; I currently serve on its Executive Committee.
