Operations Director
CurrentFinancial Management• Advise the CEO and other key members of the leadership team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and policy matters• Plan, coordinate and execute (along with the CEO) the annual budget process• Prudently manage organization’s resources within those budget guidelines• Authorize purchase orders and payments within the parameters set forth in the internal financial policies• Administer contracts as approved by the CEO and BoardEquipment, Facilities & IT Management• Oversee the management of the facilities according to the approved lease requirements• Supervise the current technology infrastructure Human Resource Management• Provide for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence and support an open-door policy among all staff• Effectively manage all areas of human resources according to the authorized personnel policies and procedures• Ensure performance evaluations of all staff are completed according to personnel policies.• Review and if necessary, recommend changes to the personnel policies and procedures handbook on an annual basis• Monitor compliance of initial and ongoing background checks for volunteers, board and staff members• Manage updates to insurance, IRA, and all other business related agency needs• Recruit, hire, staff and supervise department heads and other personnel not under the supervision of department heads and run references of potential employees• Maintain staff personnel files Statistics Reporting• Responsible for budget oversight and submission of monthly Federal and State Grant Requests for Reimbursements (RFRs)• Track agency progress towards achieving annual goals through statistical management; prepare and submit timely reports as required by National CASA and Texas CASA.• Prepares statistical reports concerning agency activity for the use of the Executive Director and other staff members
