I'm lab manager/administrative and on site coordinator and handling scheduling with outpatient and residential facilities. I handle authorizations for all services. I answer phones, direct calls where they need to go, I do scheduling for our counseling and case management needs. I work with the doctor scribing his notes and taking care of prescriptions, kaspers and drug screens. I fill in for the director when he is unavailable. I organize the staff meetings and any other necessary meetings. I have brought organization with my spreadsheets. I take care of payroll. I manage the lab department and employees. I create their schedules, perform evaluations, sign off on time cards. I train all the medical scribes for the physicians, train on the electronic prescription system, train on lab requisitions. I am the head technician and am responsible for several daily duties and operations of the pharmacy. I input all prescriptions, take refill requests, call insurances, and call doctor’s office for refills, assist physicians on routine phone calls. I do all ordering for the pharmacy including medicine, vials, and labels. I can run the front end and drive thru and can count out the registers at the end of the day. I was responsible for answering telephones, taking refill requests, working the drive thru, and filling prescriptions. I was responsible for putting up front end order as well as ordering items for the front end. I checked on all requests for the customers.
