Project Purchasing Lead
Current- Liaising and interfacing with Clients regularly, chairing all weekly project procurement meetings
- Ensuring all materials are purchased and delivered in line with design and construction schedules
- Creating Procurement Strategies and detailed procurement plans that are aligned with TransCanada and industry standards and AML Requirements
- Mentoring and providing feedback and assistance to junior buyers and procurement assistants
- Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineers to ensure vendor documents critical to engineering deliverables are submitted as per project engineering milestone requirements
- Providing support to Client Supply Chain team and assisting in troubleshooting from PO issue through equipment delivery and final document submittal
