• Assisting engineering teams in the preparation of bid documents, ensuring compliance to project procurement strategy and Cenovus Business Practices• Issuing competitive and single sourced Requests for Quotation • Evaluating competitive bids and providing commercial recommendations for award• Negotiating commercial terms with vendors and contractors• Issuing accurate Purchase Orders and ensuring compliance with negotiated terms• Working with Project Expeditors to vet vendor invoices and ensure alignment with Purchase Order progress payment milestones• Closing out Purchase Orders in a timely manner upon completion and ensuring Client turnover requirements were met• Maintaining accurate electronic and hardcopy files, ensuring efficient logging and filing of all related communication and correspondence with vendors
