I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (with an emphasis in Criminal Justice) in December 2013. I have since returned to Boise State on a part-time basis and am in the process of gaining an additional degree in history. I was chosen to write a chapter plus co-author another chapter in a book (Becoming Basque) for the Investigate Boise Field School for the Study of Municipal, Civic and Urban Affairs at Boise State University. I worked as a Research Associate for a second publication about the Boise River for Investigate Boise. While working as a Research Associate, I was given the opportunity to reach out to, and interview, different members of the Boise Valley community. I have recently presented my research about the Boise Water Project at two different academic research conventions and have recently completed an internship at the State Historic Preservation Office in Boise, Idaho. My duties at SHPO included in-depth research of Idaho Dams and arranging research reports. Through my many projects, I have formed a strong skill set in organizing, researching, and planning; plus, the ability to work efficiently on my own or in groups.
