With over 10 years of experience within the mental health and well-being sector, I have seen the positive impact that focusing on employee and student wellbeing can have on overall health, productivity, and work satisfaction. I have worked within the NHS for over 3 years as the staff health & wellbeing coordinator. In my role, I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where employees feel empowered to take care of their physical, mental, and emotional health. Whether this is through developing and delivering initiatives and project management and delivery, or providing training, guidance, and emotional support. I completed a masters degree in social science in 2018, focusing on the prevalence of gender based harassment within large organisations. I work as a sessional lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University, teaching students studying within the psychology and criminology field. I am trained as a dignity at work advisor and workplace mediator. I am a menopause advocate and have led on the implementation of 5-week expert-led training delivered across the NHS Kent and Medway system.
